WAIT!!!!
WE'RE SUPPOSED TO BE ON A PLANE HEADED FOR A WEEK IN CALIFORNIA

instead.....

DAY 2
of
RADIATION for ME
and
STOMACH FLU RICH

Rich was invited by our Pro at Loudoun Golf & Country Club to play in a ProAm Tournament in Lojolla, California next week.  We made plans to make a full week of it - we were to head out this morning - we had plans to meander up the coast just taking it all in.  Relaxing in a place both physically and mentally  -  sharing this experience together just the two of us.  I've never been.... and Rich has always wanted to do this with me and share some of his favorite places.  Then we were going to join the golf foursome for some great golf and ladies times!

We even had the wonderful Beth Kelley all booked to keep our sweet little birdy while we were gone!  Imagine Lilli's disappointment!!!

In this I trust Him too, knowing that we will get another chance.

For now I'm most disappointed for my sweet man.  I hope another ProAm is right around the corner as well as our coast adventure!  Love you Big Daddy!!!  You are the Best!

More Fun Ahead For Us!

This just means you get to go another time, with even more to celebrate! Maybe in the summer when Lilli and I can go to the pool everyday!

Good Morning Donna,
I just wanted to let you know we were thinking of you. It has been a long time, and I am rarely on FB. But I hopped on here for just a moment a couple days ago, and the post that was right on top was yours! That was as far as I got, all of a sudden it was not important to go any further. The overflow of emotions as I read your blog, and the support from all the family and friends, and now all of our prayer groups and church in Winchester are praying for you and your family. It sounds like you have an awesome family, and Rich sounds like a wonderful man, and a good golfer. I don't golf anymore, and when I did it was more beating the ball into submission from about 3 fairways over, lol. Wow, God has placed a huge hurdle in front of you, but you continue in trust and Faith in the Lord, you are truly an Angle in God's Army, and as I believe, the Lord will Bless you, as you have blessed so many of us by your testimony, and your walk with Jesus with your family and friends by your side. I always remember the poem "Footsteps" , remember God is always with you. And your trip, well I agree with BethK, it will be another time, with more to celebrate! Couldn't have said it better myself. God Bless you and your family I know you are in Gods hands and have the prayers of all your classmates, you were special then and you are now, Many Blessings, Luv Ya, Bob
Ps hope Rich feels better!

What a bummer.... this trip sounds like it would have been a blast. Rich must have been really pleased with an invitation like that! Wow! Wait til I tell Dave. As cool as that was, I'm sure that Rich would rather be with you though, making sure that you are taken care of. Right now you need to just focus on you... you can always make plans for a make-up trip! .... Makes me think back to when I was five or six... had the Mumps, and our whole neighborhood got tickets to go to the Ringling Brother's Circus. Of course with a raging fever, my Mom nixed that trip! I gotta say - I did make it to the Circus about 30 years later - taking my kids. I doubt they watched the show at all - they wanted to buy everything they were selling under the tents!!! haha... It was quite an experience. Haven't been back, and I'm not sure the grandkids could even get me to go back. All I remember were the odd smells and shelling out dollar bills! ... Anyway - keep your chin up kiddo... Prayers for strength coming your way!
